Freeview Areial install qualifying conditions

Freeview Aerial installation services provided to support DOMESTIC clients only.

Freeview Aerial installation pricing is based upon a ‘Standard call’ which is defined as requiring a 1 man installation team to install a ‘standard’ set of materials onto a property of two storeys or less in height (Domestic).

All our Freeview Aerial Installations are in accordance with the agreed technical specifications (CAI/ IDSC) and current H&S guidelines (Aerial alignment / cable routing etc).

The provision, installation and alignment of an approved digital aerial which is suitable for the local reception conditions (Bench marked type 10 - 52 element type aerial).

The provision and installation of suitable galvanised mounting brackets
- Site specific (Wall / Chimney mounts).

The provision and installation of suitable aerial masting
-Site specific (Up to 10ft in length).

Single output option:

The ‘Standard’ Single Output option is a ‘Non Amplified’ system and therefore does not include any signal amplification as standard. This is an optional extra dependent upon the site/ customer requirements

Multi room options:

The provision and installation of suitable (Double Screened) Mast Head / Distribution amplification and respective Power Supply Units (PSU) to facilitate the defined/ agreed number of signal outlets

The provision and installation of a surface mounted downlead cable (Bench marked type) up to 15m in length to a suitable position for connection to the customer’s equipment (Digital STB/ Receiver).  The number of downlead cables is dependent upon option selected 1 -4)

All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal/ external weather covers.

The downlead cable shall be terminated in accordance with the clients / STB specification using a crimp on ‘IEC’ type cable connector.

The final assessment of received terrestrial services (DTT/ Freeview/ Analogue) to confirm that the new service (coverage restrictions apply) is operational to agreed levels following your Freeview aerial installation.

The measurement of the received signal levels at the terminated end of the downlead cable using agreed test equipment to confirm that the customer has access to the desired terrestrial services.
